Dubai

Until their recent claims astronomical debt, the country of Dubai seemed like the ultimate millionaire getaway. With some of the world’s most fascinating real estate projects including a hotel with a ski slop inside and a unique, man-made Palm Islands Dubai is a weird, supremely capitalist, metropolitan city in the Middle East. Many celebrities and famous businessmen, including the notorious Donald Trump deal on a building in Dubai have attracted the world’s eyes to Dubai. If you really want to show off your wealth than a weekend trip to Dubai is the way to go. You are sure to see a lot of rich people showing off their cars and Mercedes Benz accessories when you visit Dubai so be ready to flaunt yourself.

Belize

Belize is a small country on the coast of Central America which includes a number of small and popular islands for tourism. Belize is near one of the largest and most beautiful coral reefs known as the Great Barrier Reef, making it a popular destination for scuba divers. Belize is slowly becoming more touristy but still seems downright untouched in comparison to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta or other Mexican or Caribbean destinations. Malta

This tiny archipelago in the center of the Mediterranean south of Sicily has been an important location in the history of Europe, often a strategic location for many battles and empires. Famously, the Biblical apostle St. Paul was shipwrecked on the island and subsequently spread Christianity there. Fans of old-world architecture will find much to love in Malta where there are many Roman and Bysantine frescoes and other Romanesque buildings. If you visit Malta make sure to take in a traditional Maltese wedding and food to get the full effect of this wonderful little location. There are a number of holy and religious festivals throughout the year as well that can be very stimulating and interesting.
